FAQs

What is Revival?

Revival is a move of God’s Spirit on a congregation, resulting in renewal and refreshing. It is like a cool moving of the wind, awakening us to the awareness of God’s presence and instilling in us vehement desire to please and serve Him.

Revival brings an acceleration of growth and spiritual maturity that is manifested in increased love and zeal for God. It is when all agree that “surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.”

Revival can be seen on the countenance of the people God has touched as the light of Jesus Christ shines through them.

Who can come to Revival?

Everyone! All are welcome and encouraged to attend revival.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:3,4

How can i personally prepare for revival?

Prayer is the most important way to prepare for revival. You should pray for your heart to be softened to receive the Word being preached. You should pray for the power of God to fall and faithfulness to be restored in the church. You should pray for wisdom for the preacher and for God to use the preacher to speak to His people. These things can and should be prayed for daily leading up to the revival services.

What can i expect at these services?

Sunday morning will begin at 10 a.m. with singing and testimonies followed by a revival message. After this, lunch will be provided. This is a great time for fellowship! Following lunch will be a second revival message. We encourage you to stay for both messages as they will build upon one another.

Monday will begin at 6:30 p.m. with coffee and refreshments. The service will start at 7 p.m. with singing and testimonies followed by the revival message. Dress warmly, as this service will be outside after sunset.

Where is the Train Depot?

The train depot is located on 18th street near the Community Center. It is directly in front of Luigi’s Italian Restaurant. Parking for the train depot is located in front of the loading dock ramp and along 18th street facing the depot.

What do i do after revival?

The hope of revival is to be edified as a body of believers and convicted about certain areas in our lives that hinder us from fully loving and serving the Lord. If you feel conviction for something specific in your life, we encourage you to pray and ask God for help to do or change what He has convicted you to do. If you have questions or need help with accountability, please contact Pastor James and he will be glad to help you!
